Manchester United reportedly keen on goalkeeping 'giant'

Could this be the new man for Man United?

It's been known news that Manchester United are looking to make some changes in this coming transfer window. This will be a crucial one as they position themselves for several movements, including in the goalkeeper position, potentially to replace both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir who reports indicate could both leave the club this summer.

Now it looks as though Torino goalkeeper, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, has caught the Red Devils' club’s eye. The goalkeeping traditionalists out there will be cheering, given the 28-year-old Serbian shot stopper stands at a whopping 6ft 8in and is quite hard to miss! Commanding in presence, leadership, and form, this head turner of a goalkeeper is viewed as an accessible and strategic option for Man United according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

In the meantime, both current goalkeepers for Manchester United have seen a bit of a decline in performance, with Cameroonian Onana's form having been under the spotlight for some time. Bayindir, on the other hand (or same hand, maybe), has also failed to convince. The Turkish 26-year-old is also said to be looking to pursue more regular first team football this summer after his agent said that United may be more open to a sale this time around after rejecting advances for the goalkeeper in the previous window.

The red half of Manchester has since accelerated its search for a new goalkeeper in addition to urgent needs in both attacking and midfield upgrades. They say good things come in small packages, but the makeover United may be getting between the sticks this summer won't be in a package missed by the postman.
