Manchester City have had a big question mark over their goalkeeper department, especially amidst talks of an exit for Ederson Moraes, who had a difficult last season.

Multiple Saudi Pro League sides have had an interest in Ederson since last summer and the Brazilian shot-stopper may as well have offers forming a line in front of him again this year. German second choice Ortega, on the other hand, is in his last 12 months of a contract extension at the Etihad without a renewal anywhere in sight.

As a result of all of this, the names of Diogo Costa (Porto) and Joan Garcia (Espanyol) have reportedly been coming up in transfer discussions of the eight-time Premier League champions.

Manager Pep Guardiola has, however, shed some light on the situation, saying that their preparation for the next season does not involve any changes in their goalkeeping department.

"I don't know much about goalkeepers [joining/leaving City]. I tell them to stay. We've talked about the situation of the squad, and the two goalkeepers we have will stay..."

Man City have the Club World Cup in the United States later this month and Ederson will most likely be at the club to partake.
